Flow 5 provide consultancy services specialised in groundwater supply and groundwater resource management. Our high quality hydrogeological expertise helps organisations use groundwater in an environmentally and socially responsible manner.
Flow-5 was established in 2019 by hydrogeologists with experience working across the private, international development and humanitarian sectors.
We are committed to safeguarding water resources for future generations and want to make a positive impact to the way organisations utilise and manage groundwater.
Flow-5 is based in the UK, undertaking projects internationally. We work alongside a number of international associates and partners as and when required.

Nick is a Chartered Hydrogeologist with over 10 years’ professional experience working on groundwater supply and groundwater management projects across a range of sectors internationally, including; mining, environmental, academic research, humanitarian and international development.
Finlay Paterson: Hydrogeologist (BSc, MSc)

Finlay is a Project Hydrogeologist with 5 years’ professional experience working on projects in the UK and internationally. Finlay’s UK based work has included the drilling, developing, testing and analysis of public water supply boreholes along with environmental and hydrogeological impact assessments, 3D geological modelling and 2D predictive groundwater modelling. Internationally, Finlay has worked on the design, installation and rehabilitation of private and public water supply boreholes in Malawi, working with NGOs and academic research institutions.
